Initial Visit - What to Expect at Our Office
When you arrive, a member of our friendly staff will greet you and explain your treatment, taking the time needed to answer any questions you might have. Next, the two of you will create a digital treatment record, verify your insurance coverage, and make sure you are at ease with the financial arrangements for your treatment.
You will need to complete a medical history and we ask that you bring with you a list of all the medications you are taking. (If you like, you may download and complete the forms ahead of time by clicking on the links below.)

Consent for Treatment
The next step is usually endodontic treatment, which is most often completed the same day, depending upon the treatment required. One of our staff will escort you to the treatment area, check your blood pressure, and obtain the necessary radiographs. The doctor will take time to review your record, discuss your symptoms, answer any questions you have, and provide a thorough diagnostic evaluation before beginning your treatment. At the end of your visit, we will make sure you understand all that has been accomplished and what is the next step in your dental care.
Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your appointment:
• Your referral slip and any x-rays your dentist sent with you
• A list of medications you are presently taking
• If you have dental insurance, please bring your insurance card
Important: All patients under the age of 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Scheduling An Appointment
Our office hours are:
Monday: 10:00am - 7:00pm
Tuesday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Friday: 8:00am - 4:00pm
When you call, we will make every effort to schedule you at YOUR earliest convenience. Endodontic pain can become severe; therefore if you are having pain when your dentist refers you, we will schedule you for that day in order to get you comfortable
We routinely stay on schedule to minimize your waiting if you have an appointment. At times, emergency appointments and complicated cases extend our treatment times. Our desire is to give all patients the amount of time needed to deliver the ideal clinical outcome.
Please call 410.224.7556 with any questions or to schedule an appointment.
Insurance Matters
We work hand in hand with you to maximize your insurance benefits for covered procedures. If you have any questions please ask our staff. They are well informed and up-to-date in working with insurance companies. They can be reached by phone at 410.224.7556. Please bring your dental insurance information with you to the initial appointment so that we can properly handle your billing for you.
We can bill your insurance company for you on the day of service and handle all the paper work for you. We will collect your estimated co-pay at the time of service. Most insurance companies will respond within four to six weeks. Any remaining balance after your insurance has paid is your responsibility. Your prompt remittance is appreciated.
Financial Policy
Financial Information
In most cases, advances in endodontic technology employed in our office enable us to complete your treatment with one visit to our office. This minimizes costly time you would have to spend away from work and eliminates the need for multiple times of being "numbed". Our fee for endodontic therapy is determined by the complexity of the tooth being treated and reflects the quality of care we deliver. Innovative office systems such as out-sourced billing and specially trained, multi-tasked staffing enable us to maintain our fees at a level approximating what most dental insurance plans allow. However, we pledge to you that we will never discount fees to a level that would cause us to sacrifice the highest quality of care to which we are dedicated and you are entitled. We will help you verify your insurance coverage and determine the portion of the treatment fee that your insurance will reimburse. We will fill out the required documentation at your appointment and send it in so that you may receive reimbursement.
We have many convenient options for you to pay for your care. We accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. In addition, we can arrange for interest free financing so that you will not need to pay any fees at the time of your treatment.
Care Credit - Financing Dental Care
As a service to our patients, we are pleased to offer the CareCredit card, North America's leading patient payment program. CareCredit lets you begin your treatment immediately then pay for it over time with low monthly payments that are easy to fit into your monthly budget.
With CareCredit, you pay no up-front costs, no pre-payment penalties and no fees. Plus, CareCredit is a revolving credit line for additional treatment or add-on charges, without the need to re-apply. It only takes a few minutes to apply for CareCredit and you'll receive an online decision in seconds! Ask our staff for details.
Protecting Your Health
Our practice exceeds the highest standards of infection control advocated by the American Dental Association, the CDC, and OSHA. We utilize the latest barrier techniques and autoclave sterilization to eliminate any risk of cross-contamination. The performance of our sterilizer is continually monitored to insure proper function. In addition to barrier techniques, we practice the highest level of surface disinfection. We exclude all tap water from our treatment units, and maintain our clean waterlines with the ICX disinfection and biofilm eliminating system. Our priority is to provide state-of-the-art endodontic care while maintaining a strict operating protocol.
